Ian Wilson has overseen Hotel Operations at Marina Bay Sands, since 2013. His overview includes the 2561 room hotel, as well as the Sky Park, Pool, transportation, Call Centre, and Food and Beverage Operations.
In addition to being President of CanCham, Ian is also a member of the National Healthcare Productivity Expert Advisory Panel, a member of the Singapore Hotel Association’s Hotel Innovation Committee, chair of the Hospitality Services Committee for the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Workplace Safety and Health Council (Hospitality and Entertainment Industries) Committee.
Ian’s career started in Food and Beverage then Rooms, Distribution, Revenue Management, and Senior Operational roles first with Fairmont and now with MBS.
Ian holds Masters’ and Bachelor’s Degrees in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and is certified as a Journeyman Chef from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

AGM Agenda:
-To receive the annual report of the Executive Committee
-To receive and adopt the Accounts for CanCham for the year ending March 31st, 2017
-To elect no more than fourteen members to the CanCham Executive Committee for 2017-2018
-To elect auditors for the ensuing year
-To approve the financial budget for the ensuing year
-To consider any other matter that the Secretary has received in writing seven days prior to the AGM
Nominations for Executive Committee positions may be submitted in writing to the Secretary up to seven (7) days in advance of the AGM. All nominations may be sent to execdirector@cancham.org.sg. Members who cannot attend are encouraged to nominate a proxy by filling out a proxy form.
