Following the NWC’s announcement, a special briefing on the NWC Guidelines for 2017/2018 and the Re-employment of Older Employees will be organized for members of Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) on Thu, 22 Jun 2017.

The NWC reaffirms the principle that wage increases will need to be sustainable and fair: built-in wage increases should be given in line with companies’ business prospects, while variable payments should reflect companies’ performance and workers’ contributions. A copy of the NWC Guidelines will be distributed at the briefing.
