Keep it Real: Truth and Trust in the Media – 19 June 2017

CanCham was pleased to be a supporting partner in the two-day forum “Keep it Real: Truth and Trust in the Media” organized by The Straits Times and WAN-IFRA. Canadian lie detection expert, Nejolla Korris, presented at the forum, sharing what people can do to address the problem of Fake News. Opening remarks were provided by K. Shanmugam, Minister of Home Affairs and Law. Following the first day’s events, the High Commission of Canada in Singapore hosted a lovely reception for the speakers and organizers of the event.
